How does AI FX Builder work with Nimbus?

Describe the sound you want in plain English. AI FX Builder generates and compiles the effect in the cloud, delivers it to Nimbus wirelessly, and Nimbus runs the finished effect locally. Nimbus includes 30 AI builds per month.

Which NAM models can I run?

Nimbus runs NAM natively, without converting your models. Browse TONE3000’s library of 500k+ amp and pedal captures. Run one NAM model at a time, alongside AI FX Builder effects, IRs, other amp models and pre-made effects.

Is there a limit of ten cabinet IRs?

No. Nimbus supports 1024-sample IRs without the old ten-slot limit. Store your collection within the available space on Nimbus’s 16GB storage.

Can two people play through Nimbus?

Yes. Two combo XLR / ¼-inch inputs let two musicians plug in, with independent input volume controls. You can also use USB-C for recording and Bluetooth to stream backing tracks.

What changed since the Kickstarter video?

Nimbus now has 100W stereo output, upgraded custom speakers developed with PowerBass at 15° angles, a stitched Tolex strap handle, and 16GB of storage. AI FX Builder has been added, NAM replaces AIDA-X, and 1024-sample IRs are no longer limited to ten slots. The original campaign video shows an earlier design.

When will my pre-order ship?

The current retail delivery estimate is late February 2027. This is an estimate and may change as production progresses. Payment is collected when you place your order, and pre-orders are 100% refundable before shipment.

What is included?

Nimbus, its power adapter, stickers and documentation, plus the Chaos Audio app, pre-made effects, and 30 AI FX Builder builds per month. Nimbus includes a one-year warranty.
