Chaos Audio Limited Warranty

Version 1.0. Effective August 20, 2026. This is a LIMITED warranty.

Chaos Audio LLC, 7543 Holley Circle, Panama City Beach, Florida 32408 ("Chaos Audio," "we," "us") provides this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of Chaos Audio hardware products.

1. What this warranty covers and for how long

We warrant that Chaos Audio hardware purchased new from chaosaudio.com or from an authorized Chaos Audio dealer will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

This warranty covers the hardware unit. It does not cover software, firmware, digital effects, presets, plugins, neural amp models, or impulse responses, which are licensed and provided as described in the Chaos Audio Terms and Conditions.

2. What we will do

If a covered defect appears during the warranty period and you submit a valid claim, we will, at our option and at no charge to you for parts or labor, either repair the product using new or refurbished parts, or replace it with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater functionality. If we determine that repair and replacement are both impracticable, we may instead refund the purchase price you paid.

A repaired or replaced product is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period, or for 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

We pay shipping costs for warranty repairs in the United States in both directions. For products located outside the United States, you are responsible for shipping the product to us and for any duties, import taxes, or customs charges; we pay return shipping.

3. How to get warranty service

Email support@chaosaudio.com. Include your order number, the product serial number if available, a description of the problem, and photos or video if the problem is visible or audible. We will troubleshoot with you first, because many issues are resolved without a repair. If we confirm a covered defect, we will issue return instructions.

Do not send a product to us without return instructions. Products sent without instructions may be delayed or returned to you.

4. What this warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover:

• products purchased from resale marketplaces or from anyone other than Chaos Audio or an authorized dealer (if you bought a defective unit on the resale market, contact us anyway and we will see whether we can help, but any assistance is outside this warranty);
• damage from physical abuse, including drops, impacts, crushing, and damage to components or the enclosure resulting from negligence;
• damage from liquid contamination of any kind;
• damage from use other than the product's intended use;
• damage from incorrect connection, connection to faulty equipment, or use of a faulty or incorrect power supply;
• any product that has been disassembled, modified, or repaired, or where repair has been attempted, by anyone other than Chaos Audio or a party we authorize in writing;
• cosmetic damage that does not affect function, including scratches, dents, scuffs, and normal wear;
• consumable and wear items, and accessories such as cables, straps, and power supplies, except where supplied defective in the original sealed package;
• products on which the serial number has been removed, altered, or made illegible;
• damage caused by external causes such as fire, flood, power surge, lightning, or acts of nature; and
• any loss of presets, settings, audio, or other data.

Opening or disassembling the product voids this warranty.

5. Transferability

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It does not apply to units acquired second-hand.

6. Limitation on implied warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ONE-YEAR TERM OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

7. Limitation of remedies

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2 IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. CHAOS AUDIO IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST OR DAMAGED DATA OR PRESETS, DAMAGE TO OTHER EQUIPMENT, COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT, OR LOSS OF USE, ARISING FROM ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Your other rights

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. Nothing in this warranty affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.

9. Returns are separate from warranty

This warranty is separate from our returns policy. If you simply want to return a product you are not happy with, see the Chaos Audio Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations Policy in our support center, which offers 30-day returns on eligible items purchased directly from chaosaudio.com, subject to eligibility rules and restocking fees.
