Connect TONE3000 and find compatible captures

TONE3000 lets you browse community NAM captures and IRs from the Chaos Audio app. Choose compatible files and read the creator’s notes.

Add a capture

  1. In Chaos Audio, open Add Effect → NAM AMP MODELS or IMPULSE RESPONSES.
  2. Open the TONE3000 browsing option and sign into TONE3000 when prompted.
  3. Choose a capture or pack and complete the return to Chaos Audio.
  4. Wait for it to appear in your library, then install it on the connected hardware.
Bring a compatible capture into your rig. Chaos Audio: Open NAM models or impulse responses. TONE3000: Sign in, choose a capture, return to the app. Your hardware: Install the item before playing it. TONE3000 sign-in is separate from your Chaos Audio account.

Accounts and packs

Your Chaos Audio account and TONE3000 sign-in serve different purposes. A pack may contain multiple model or microphone choices; select the one you want in the effect’s selector. The whole TONE3000 catalog is not a list of files guaranteed to work on your device.

FX Builder references are a separate workflow

FX Builder can use a reference while creating code. That does not make the generated effect identical to loading the original NAM capture. In the latest workflow, the builder checks its available library first and may request a TONE3000 connection when needed.

If the return or download fails

Check connectivity and complete the sign-in flow once. If you return without an item, reopen the picker and try again. If the item exists in your account but not on the pedal, follow hardware installation.
