Latest features and software previews

Follow the shared Stratus and Nimbus software features here, with unreleased workflows clearly distinguished from general setup guidance.

September 2026 preview highlights

  • FX Builder 2.0: conversational Studio, interactive audition, Design finishes, and Share; an optional finish picker in the mobile app.
  • NAM: optimized A2-Lite playback and removal of the app’s old single-model restriction, subject to the total CPU budget.
  • Presets: account sync improvements, cross-device ordering, and My Presets refresh behavior.
  • Live control: app/MIDI selection of playing modes, plus MIDI looper control from Preset and Stompbox modes.
Match the guide to your software. Read the label: Preview guides describe the latest work. Check your release: Your public app may have different controls. Update normally: Use the supported app store and update tool. Do not install development firmware just to make your screen match a preview.

How to read preview guides

A preview explains the latest documented behavior. It is not a promise that your app store or update tool already offers that version. Update through your normal supported channel; if the feature is absent, keep using your installed version’s controls.

Nimbus hardware

Nimbus shares the software features above and adds its own input/output and speaker capabilities. Its production design is still a preview. See Nimbus overview and specifications.
